ISO 9001 – the Global standard for Quality management systems is revised and released in September 2015 as ISO 9001:2015. Companies already certified for ISO 9001:2008 are allowed a transition period of 3 years. This new addition lays emphasis on risk and opportunity assessment to manage quality performance effectively through an improved management system which will act as a preventive tool.
In many MSMEs certified to ISO 9001:2008, the internal audits, training and the ‘Management representative’ (drawn from a lower hierarchical level or left) are not effective. This leads to the collapse of the quality management system with consequential effects on business results.
For organizations wishing to upgrade to ISO 9001:2015, we conduct a gap analysis and formulate a strategy. This prepares the organization to focus in an effective manner on improving weak areas and raise the overall competitiveness in the country and abroad. We also provide help to update documentation in line with the requirements of the new version of the Standard and provide specific Training for implementing the documented processes in an effective manner.
