ISO 9001 – the Global standard for Quality management systems is revised and released in September 2015 as ISO 9001:2015. Companies already certified for ISO 9001:2008 are allowed a transition period of 3 years. This new addition lays emphasis on risk and opportunity assessment to manage quality performance effectively through an improved management system which will act as a preventive tool.
